The plot: A young Englishman arrives at Berlin and
soon becomes lover of an American cabaret singer, Sally Bowles. In the meantime
they meet a wealthy German baron with whom they both have sex. There’s also a
German gigolo and a rich Jew girl who are pupils of the Englishman, and who
fall in love with each other. Curiously it seems that none of the characters
realize that the Nazi Party will change their lives forever.
